Occupational Therapist
Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join their team in Madison Heights. This role focuses on providing compassionate care to children with physical and cognitive impairments, while also involving families in the therapy process. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and collaboration. Key Responsibilities ● Implementing assessments for program placement ● Implementing assessments to measure progress ● Developing curriculum ● Supervising programs ● Creating and implementing customized occupational therapy plans with ongoing data analysis to modify as necessary ● Facilitating parent meetings/ parent training to ensure consistency between the home and clinic ● Collaborating with multiple professionals to ensure consistency and quality of care ● Writing reports and collaborating with payors to maintain authorizations ● Staying current with research and new methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) (1+ years)
- Valid Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) in Michigan (MI)
